• Strength training with Davidson boosted my confidence in my physical performance, making the transition to the Division 1 (D1) level smoother. My overall physical conditioning improved, which prepared me to handle the increased intensity and demands of my college sport. I became more powerful and explosive, allowing me to perform at a high level. Davidson also prepared me for the life after being a college athlete. Returning to the gym without the set schedules and pressure of required training can be difficult. It can also be intimidating to step into a gym unsure of how to lift, what your physique goals are, how many reps to do, etc. Lucky for me, he provided me with the building blocks, and tools to be successful in the weight room and in my training independently. With this level of preparedness I am confident and motivated.

The knowledge and confidence you instilled only prepared me for the unknown at a new program, which proved when I knew more than most players and trainers. You’ve taught me to know how to listen to my body and that recovery is more important than the work you put in, on and off the court.   • Davidson was the first person in my career to introduce me to resistive training. Throughout my time as an athlete he crafted workouts targeting the specific needs for my sport as well as any deficits I had that might limit my play. His training changed and grew as I did, continually pushing me to my limits. The workouts were well balanced between aerobic/resistive exercise while continually taking into account my own mobility. Years later I continue to find myself referring to education I received during my time with Davidson. He is an awesome human with a vast wealth of knowledge for strength and conditioning and it shows.

Before i suffered from a lot of nerve issues and injuries from inadequate lifting and you helped my body become strong enough for the demands of my sport.
